Sandra Note:

I love a good t-shirt.

That love goes all the way back to my teenage years, when I was obsessed with punk music and collected band tees like badges of identity. Back then, oversized shirts gave me confidence—they helped me feel safe and supported when I wasn’t sure how to show up in my own skin. I could move freely and be myself because I was physically comfortable.

Now, that same shirt holds a whole new meaning.

In this bodybuilding prep, my gym tee is the most reliable piece of clothing I own. It fits no matter how my shape changes, and it still looks cool. It’s hybrid fashion—I can wear it to the gym and then head straight to brunch.

I question if these t-shirts are just t-shirts sometimes.
They are a vessel to fuel creativity and self-expression.

They carry the story of transformation and conneciton. (I'm keeping this typo in here intentionally :) .

About Sandy

I embarked on a transformative wellness journey, that not only transformed my body, but also unlocked a deeper sense of resilience and hibernating creativity. I've lost (& kept off) -75lbs over the last five years, and completed 4x half marathons, 1x full marathon, and recieved my NASM Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coaching Certifications.

Curiosity has been one of the most impactful qualities in my journey. No one is interested in everything, but everyone is interested in something.

Early on, I was trying to force an interest or routine on myself. Without experimenting, I wasn’t able to discover what truly resonated. After a lot of trial and error, eventually, things stuck and it began to feel natural.

My advice for those just starting out (in anything) is to remain open-minded. Whether you’re on a fitness journey and trying different workouts or meal plans, or you’re an artist struggling to find your medium, the key is to keep exploring.

Don’t be afraid to try new things, and don’t worry if something doesn’t click right away—it’s all part of the process.

Editors Note: I'm currently training for a bodybuilding show!

I like to dance and take photos.

I love coffee and laughing.
